Henan Provincial Health Commission: Focus on building five major "highlands" of traditional Chinese medicine.

According to the Henan Center for Disease Control, the 2026 Henan Province health conference was held in Zhengzhou on January 13th-14th. The conference aimed to fully implement the decisions and arrangements made at the National Health Work Conference, the 11th Plenary Session of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Economic Work Conference. It also aimed to systematically summarize the health work of 2025 and the "14th Five-Year Plan," as well as arrange and deploy key tasks for 2026. The conference emphasized the importance of building five major traditional Chinese medicine highlands, including highlands for medical services, technological innovation, industry development, talent aggregation, and cultural heritage. Efforts will be made to vigorously develop new productive forces in health and promote the application of research results, expand and strengthen the biopharmaceutical industry, and build a digital intelligent innovation system.
