The U.S. Northern Command announced the establishment of the "Golden Joint Task Force."

On January 15th, local time, the United States Northern Command announced the establishment of the "Golden Joint Task Force", which will be commanded by Lieutenant General Sean Gainey. The "Golden Joint Task Force" is dedicated to strengthening the integration and coordination of the comprehensive air defense and missile defense system of the United States mainland. This task force is located at the same location as the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command, both based at Peterson Space Force Base.
