According to statistics from the Gaoqi Border Checkpoint of Xiamen Border Inspection General Station, as of 7 pm on December 27th, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Xiamen Port in 2025 exceeded 6 million for the first time, an increase of nearly 20% compared to the same period last year, reaching a record high. This milestone also brought several new records: the number of inbound and outbound foreign passengers at Xiamen Port exceeded 1 million for the first time, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at the airport port exceeded 4 million for the first time, and the number of Taiwan compatriots traveling through the Xiamen-Kinmen Little Three Links route exceeded 1.25 million for the first time, all reaching record highs.
