22% U.S. leather products may increase by 22%, according to the U.S. media.
According to a report from the American website CNBC, the US tariff policy and the resulting supply chain disruptions have already pushed up the prices of leather products such as boots and handbags by 2025. Yale University's budget laboratory predicts that due to factors such as inflation, supply chain bottlenecks, and high tariffs, the prices of leather products in the US will rise by at least 22% in the next one to two years. The American Tapestry Group, which owns handbag brands such as Coach, previously stated that the company's expenses related to tariffs could total $160 million, and warned that the negative impacts of tariffs would be greater than expected.
