National autumn grain purchase has exceeded 200 million tons.
The State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves released data on the 27th, showing that as of now, various grain trading entities nationwide have accumulated over 200 million tons of autumn grains, an increase of 32 million tons from the same period last year, reaching the highest level in recent years. By variety, the purchase of medium and late-season indica rice reached 48 million tons, japonica rice reached 35 million tons, corn reached 1.17 billion tons, and soybeans reached 8 million tons. Compared with the expected purchase volume, the purchase progress of medium and late-season indica rice has reached nearly 80%, japonica rice has exceeded 70%, corn has surpassed 50%, and soybeans have exceeded 60%. Overall, the purchase progress is smooth.
