Cyberspace Administration: Providers should establish a minor mode, providing users with personalized security settings options such as switching to the minor mode, regular real-time reminders, and usage time restrictions.
The State Internet Information Office is seeking public opinions on the "Interim Measures for the Management of Artificial Intelligence Personified Interactive Services", which stipulates that providers should establish a mode for minors, and provide users with personalized security settings such as switching to a mode for minors, regular reminders, and usage time limits. When providers offer emotional companionship services to minors, they must obtain explicit consent from guardians; provide guardians with control functions, allowing them to receive real-time safety warnings, access an overview of the minor's service usage, block specific roles, limit usage time, and prevent recharge consumption. Providers should have the ability to identify minors, and switch to the mode for minors and provide an appeals channel for cases where minors are suspected of being minors, all while protecting the user's personal privacy.
