The State Internet Information Office is soliciting opinions on the "Interim Measures for the Management of Artificial Intelligence Avatar Interaction Services", which states that providers should prominently alert users that they are interacting with artificial intelligence rather than a natural person. Providers should dynamically remind users through pop-up windows or other means when they identify that users are showing signs of excessive reliance or addiction, or when users are using the service for the first time or logging back in, that the interaction content is generated by artificial intelligence. If a user uses avatar interaction services for more than 2 hours continuously, the provider should dynamically remind the user to pause the service through pop-up windows or other means.
