In order to strengthen the supervision of the entire chain of online food safety, effectively prevent and resolve the risks brought by new business formats and models of online sales, the Market Supervision Administration of Liaoning Province will conduct a 5-month network food sales safety supervision and governance throughout the province. This governance will focus on businesses engaged in food sales through the internet, online food delivery, and selling food through live streaming marketing methods, with a key emphasis on supervising and inspecting the implementation of food safety responsibilities by online food trading platforms and registered food producers and operators. This supervision will simultaneously focus on 8 key aspects such as food production, food sales, online food delivery, and online transactions to achieve early detection, early warning, and early disposal of online food safety risks.
