Japanese manufacturing giant Kawasaki Heavy Industries is accused of tampering with submarine engine data.

On the 26th, the Japanese Ministry of Defense announced that Kawasaki Heavy Industries has been banned from participating in bidding for 2.5 months due to tampering with test data for marine engines. A supplementary report released by the company admitted that there were also cases of tampering with fuel efficiency data for submarine engines manufactured for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
