The United States is re-evaluating graphite, a long-neglected key mineral, due to the rapid expansion of the global battery industry. Titan Mining Company in New York State plans to achieve commercial production of graphite by 2028, with an estimated annual production of about 40,000 tons of graphite concentrate, meeting half of the demand for natural graphite in the United States.
