Chinese Charity Association: Never conducted the so-called "500 billion yuan special fund for people's livelihood subsidies" subsidy action.
The China Charity Federation issued a solemn statement today regarding the fraudulent use of the organization's name for scams. The statement indicates that the Federation has received numerous reports and complaints recently, stating that illegal organizations and individuals have been impersonating the "China Charity Federation" and falsely claiming to be carrying out a so-called "500 billion yuan special fund for people's livelihood" subsidy action in collaboration with relevant central departments. They are using the lure of distributing "10,000 yuan subsidies" to deceive the public into participating in "recruitment" activities through setting up WeChat groups, live streaming classes, promoting the "Yunjie" App, and establishing fake websites, thus committing fraud and illegal activities. Such behavior seriously violates national laws and regulations, seriously infringes on the financial security and legitimate rights and interests of the people, and seriously damages the reputation and credibility of the China Charity Federation.
In response to this, the China Charity Federation solemnly declares that it has never collaborated with any organization, enterprise, or individual to carry out the so-called "500 billion yuan special fund for people's livelihood" subsidy action. The Federation has never authorized any individual to contact organizations, village committees, or individuals in the name of the Federation to distribute subsidies or public welfare subsidies. The Federation has never required the public to obtain donation or subsidy qualifications through downloading designated apps, joining WeChat groups, recruiting people, or daily check-ins for points. All public fundraising activities of the Federation are legally registered and publicized on the "Charity China" information platform, and they are subject to social supervision.
