Reporters learned from the 2025 Fifth Interim Shareholders' Meeting held by Unigroup Technology in the afternoon that since resuming shipments in mid-October this year, ASE China has shipped over 11 billion chips and supplied over 800 customers worldwide. In response to the controversies surrounding ASE Semiconductor, Unigroup Technology initiated multiple legal proceedings in the Netherlands in October of this year and has submitted a dispute notice. If the issue is not resolved within six months, the company may seek international arbitration, with a potential claim amount of up to 8 billion US dollars. In January 2026, the company will reassert its position and actively defend its rights at the second hearing.
