China Telecom holds 2026 annual work conference.

From December 24th to 25th, China Telecom's 2026 annual work conference was held in Beijing. The meeting called for the comprehensive implementation of the cloud transformation, data optimization, and intelligent and beneficial strategy throughout the group in 2026, embracing artificial intelligence in all aspects, and promoting the construction of service-oriented, technology-oriented, and secure enterprises to a new level, ensuring a good start and progress in the "15th Five-Year Plan". The conference stressed the importance of comprehensively advancing the "AI+" action, continuously expanding the depth and breadth, empowering the transformation and development of the economy and society towards digital intelligence. It also emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of technology-leading enterprises, strengthen original innovation and critical core technology breakthroughs, produce more high-level, landmark original achievements. The meeting also highlighted the importance of comprehensive efforts in the construction of secure enterprises, leveraging the good foundation and unique advantages of enterprises in the security field, solidifying the security foundation of cloud networks, enhancing the rule of law thinking, and preventing and resolving various risks. Furthermore, the conference called for speeding up the construction of new digital information infrastructure, promoting the layout of a nationwide integrated computing power network system, being appropriately forward-looking, and accelerating construction.
