Ministry of Ecology and Environment: All 124 soil pollution control projects have been completed.

On December 26, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment held its regular press conference for December. Zhao Shixin, Director of the Soil Ecology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, introduced that the Ministry is focusing on the prominent issues of soil and groundwater pollution. They have identified a total of 124 soil pollution control projects, including 74 for enterprises and 50 for farmland, all of which have been completed. The goals are to eliminate soil environmental risks, establish integrated technology pathways, promote an environmentally and economically beneficial model, and encourage green transformations within companies, with over 3400 businesses voluntarily implementing these changes.
