The Ministry of Ecology and Environment held a press conference this morning. The relevant person in charge reported that China has implemented the "14th Five-Year Plan" for soil, groundwater, and rural ecological environment protection in-depth. All indicators have been successfully completed, national soil environmental risks have been effectively controlled, the overall quality of groundwater environment has been stable, the rural living environment has significantly improved, over 110,000 administrative villages have been renovated for environmental improvement, and the treatment rate of rural domestic wastewater has greatly increased.
