Chengdu opens the first unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) blood delivery route.

At 9:47 am on December 25th, at the Chengdu Blood Center Drone Airport, with a light sound breaking the silence, a drone steadily took off and flew towards the Longtan branch of the Second People's Hospital of Sichuan University in Chengdu. A few minutes later, the second drone also successfully took off, heading to the First People's Hospital of Longquanyi District in Chengdu. The two drones carried the blood needed by the hospitals, marking the opening of Chengdu's first drone blood delivery route. The Chengdu blood emergency support system has officially entered a new stage of "air-land integration."
