Meng Bo, Director of the Beijing Intellectual Property Office: Beijing ranks first in the country in terms of the number of high-value invention patents per 10,000 people.

Meng Bo, director of the Beijing Intellectual Property Office, introduced at the National Intellectual Property Office's regular press conference in December that the major indicators determined in the "14th Five-Year Plan for Intellectual Property Development in Beijing" have all been achieved ahead of schedule. As of the end of June this year, the number of high-value invention patents per 10,000 people in Beijing reached 171.8, ranking first in the country.
