Hideout discovered: Italian fugitive mafia boss captured
The Italian police recently arrested a top Mafia boss who was on the run in a raid in the southern city of Naples. The man was found hiding in a secret room in an apartment when he was arrested. The police reported on the 24th that the man, named Chiro Andolfi, aged 49, is the leader of the Mafia organization "Camorra". He is one of the "Top 100 Most Dangerous Fugitives" identified by the Italian Ministry of the Interior, and has been sentenced to over 8 years in prison for his involvement in Mafia-style criminal activities such as extortion, corruption, and joining the Mafia organization. However, he escaped in 2022. After investigating, the police discovered that he had been hiding in a secret room in an apartment in the Barra district of Naples after escaping, so they carried out the arrest operation.
