Fujitsu joins SoftBank-led AI memory development project.

On December 26th, it was reported that Fujitsu will join a next-generation storage research and development project led by SoftBank and other companies. The project will utilize technology from Intel and the University of Tokyo, with the goal of achieving commercialization of the technology in the 2027 fiscal year and establishing a mass production system in the 2029 fiscal year. In June of this year, Intel and SoftBank announced a partnership to develop a stacked DRAM solution to replace high-bandwidth memory.
