How will the real estate sector reduce inventory next year?
The real estate industry chain is long and extensive, involving the vital interests of the people and the overall economic and social development. The Central Economic Work Conference proposed to focus on stabilizing the real estate market and clearly defined the policy direction of destocking. How to destock the real estate inventory next year is a matter of great concern. Since the beginning of this year, with the continuous implementation of real estate policies such as controlling the increase in supply and optimizing the existing stock, the destocking of real estate has steadily progressed, and the national inventory of unsold commercial housing has decreased for nine consecutive months since March. However, there are also hidden worries behind the achievements. As of the end of November, the absolute size of the national inventory of unsold commercial housing still exceeds 750 million square meters, coupled with a large number of listings in the second-hand housing market, the inventory pressure remains high. Destocking has become the top priority in stabilizing the real estate market. Promoting destocking in the real estate market next year requires coordinated efforts from both the supply and demand sides. It is not only necessary to strictly control the increase in supply and activate existing stock on the supply side but also to take effective measures on the demand side to accelerate the digestion of inventory.
