Bolsonaro personally endorses his eldest son to run for president from prison

Former Brazilian president Bolsonaro confirmed on Thursday in a handwritten letter that he will support his son in the 2026 presidential election. Bolsonaro, who is currently serving a prison sentence for attempting a coup after losing the 2022 election, is unable to run for office himself.
