The first industry standard in our country for regulating the implementation of e-commerce platforms to verify the qualifications of online sales products has been implemented.

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the industry standard for the implementation of certification and accreditation, titled "Technical Application Specification for Mandatory Product Certification E-commerce Platform Interconnection Check". This is aimed at guiding and standardizing e-commerce platforms to conduct interconnection checks on mandatory product certification certificates and other qualification information for online sale products such as household appliances, toys, consumer electronics, and electrical switches. It explores a new path to safeguard consumer rights and promote the high-quality development of platform economy through data empowerment and social governance. This standard is the first industry standard in China to regulate the implementation of qualification verification for online sale products by e-commerce platforms, further standardizing the qualification verification work and addressing issues such as inconsistent professional terminology, non-standard technical methods, and inconsistent management requirements encountered by e-commerce platforms in interconnection checks.
