Shanghai: vigorously promote the research and development, standard formulation, technical testing, pilot scale demonstration, scene application and international cooperation of 6G technology.

The Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Several Measures to Support the Construction of the Source Area of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta", proposing to cultivate future industrial agglomeration zones. It aims to create a national 6G comprehensive test local base, vigorously promote 6G technology research and development, standard formulation, technology testing, pilot maturity, scene application, and international cooperation. According to regulations, funding support not exceeding 30% of the total investment and up to a maximum of 30 million yuan will be provided in stages.
