In Over the course of three years, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) and Shiyuan Electric Company have signed a memorandum of understanding for energy storage cooperation, with a capacity of 50GWh.

According to the official WeChat account of Ningde Times, recently, Ningde Times and Sinyuan Electric signed a three-year energy storage cooperation memorandum, with a target cooperation capacity of 50GWh. Based on their respective traditional advantages, the two sides will promote the market-oriented dual-procurement model of energy storage, jointly enhance the synergy efficiency of the industrial chain, and help the high-quality development of the energy storage industry. Over the next three years, the two parties will focus on energy storage systems, transmission and distribution equipment, and achieve two-way synergy between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. In addition, they will strengthen technological exchanges and project cooperation, continuously optimize overall solution capabilities, improve project delivery efficiency and reliability, and accelerate the large-scale application of energy storage systems in new power networks.
