Data shows that as of December 24th, 1866 companies in the Shanghai market have held third-quarter performance briefings, accounting for 99% of the scheduled meetings and more than 80% of all companies in Shanghai. Based on recent discussions, new productive forces have become one of the most discussed topics among Shanghai companies, with many industries seeing new markets and opportunities being driven by technology. With the maturity of AI models and widespread application, many listed companies have expressed optimism towards the market. For example, in terms of computing power, "the company has seen a strong demand for AI computing power from customers, and with cloud service providers increasing capital expenditures, the overall shipment of AI servers is expected to exceed previous expectations," said Industrial Fulian during their performance briefing. At the same time, a group of companies in need of transformation or industrial chain integration are planning to create industry platforms or a "second growth curve" through mergers and acquisitions or opening up new business "battlefields," with many Shanghai companies revealing their transformation and upgrade direction or clearly defining their merger and acquisition strategies during briefings and research interviews. Mergers and acquisitions, closely linked with transformation and upgrade, have been frequently mentioned in recent communications. The willingness of emerging industry listed companies to integrate is also quite strong.
