The State Council Taiwan Affairs Office held a regular press conference. A reporter asked about the remarks on cross-strait relations and the so-called "Mainland threat" made by the spokesperson of the Taiwan regional leader's office. Spokesperson Peng Qingen said that compatriots on both sides of the strait belong to the Chinese nation and are all Chinese.
