Nikkei Index rises following Wall Street's lead.

The Japanese stock market may rise, following the overnight gains on Wall Street, as the latest data shows the US economy grew faster than expected in the third quarter, boosting the stock market on Wall Street. In addition, the leading trend of US technology stocks may spread to Japanese technology stocks, giving them a boost. Nikkei futures on the Singapore Exchange rose by 0.15%, to 50,545 points. The Nikkei index closed basically flat on Tuesday, at 50,412.87 points.
