Today, the State Council Information Office held a press conference. Li Yang, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport, introduced that since the 14th Five-Year Plan, whether it is infrastructure, transport services, or safety guarantees, the capabilities have all significantly improved. The facility network is more complete, with more than 90% completion rate of the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network framework of "6 axes, 7 corridors, and 8 channels". Key cities such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Chengdu-Chongqing have achieved 2-hour connectivity. The volume of passenger and freight transportation, cargo throughput of ports, and express delivery business volume rank among the top in the world. Breakthroughs have been made in domestic large aircraft, large cruise ships, and large liquefied natural gas ships. Several major projects for opening up to the outside world have been completed and put into operation, such as the China-Russia Heihe Highway Bridge, China-Laos Railway, and Peru's Chancay Port. The China-Europe freight trains, the "Silk Road Maritime Route," and the Air Silk Road are running steadily, and the China-Europe direct express delivery via the Caspian Sea has opened and is operating. The governance system is accelerating its improvement, with the release of over 1200 standards and regulations, the formulation and revision of 141 laws and regulations, and the effective implementation of the "efficiency in handling one thing" policy.
