He stated that 2025 will be a challenging year for the textile and apparel foreign trade industry, but the domestic super-large market advantage, industrial resilience, and increasing policy support have provided solid support for the industry transformation. The industry needs to drive transformation through innovation, cohesiveness to resist risks, and find the right positioning and breakthroughs in the new development pattern of dual cycles. The vice president of the Chamber, Zhang Xian, mentioned that looking ahead to 2026, the industry is expected to stabilize overall exports, encouraging companies to expand overseas operations, develop emerging markets, and promote the transformation of products towards green, smart, and high value-added, thus enhancing the resilience and competitiveness of the global supply chain.
