The five trapped individuals in the water accident at Datonggou Coal Mine in Heilongjiang Province have all died.

On December 23rd, a reporter learned from an interview at the scene of a water-inrush accident at Datonggou Coal Mine of Heilongjiang Fengyuan Mining Co., Ltd. that, after full-force rescue efforts, all 5 trapped individuals in this accident were found. Unfortunately, they were confirmed to have no signs of life and had passed away. Currently, post-accident disposal work has been fully launched, and the cause of the accident is under further investigation. The water-inrush accident at Datonggou Coal Mine of Heilongjiang Fengyuan Mining Co., Ltd. occurred at approximately 4:30 am on December 21, 2025, resulting in 5 people being trapped.
