Bank of America CEO Moynihan said that the economic benefits of AI are increasingly evident.
Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America, stated that artificial intelligence is beginning to have a greater impact on the U.S. economy. "AI investment has been growing all year, and may become a bigger contributing factor in the coming year and beyond," Moynihan said in an interview on Monday. "The impact of artificial intelligence is becoming more and more apparent, so not all of it can be attributed to AI, but the marginal impact it brings is quite strong."
Moynihan has been at the helm of Bank of America for nearly 15 years. He said the bank expects the U.S. economy to perform strongly next year, with anticipated growth of 2.4%, higher than the roughly 2% in 2025. He added that while the labor market is beginning to weaken, it appears more like a normalization of the job market.
