China Energy Engineering Group: Consortium wins bid for the Shumuta 6th round solar power project of the Saudi Electricity Procurement Company.

According to the news from China Energy Construction, recently, China Energy Construction Overseas Company, in consortium with East China Institute and Hunan Thermal Power, won the bid for the Shumuta 6th round of photovoltaic power generation project of the Saudi Electricity Procurement Company, with a contract amount of 300 million US dollars. The project is located about 15 kilometers northwest of Shumuta Town, Jizan Province, southern Saudi Arabia, with a total installed capacity of 600 megawatts. The consortium will be responsible for the entire chain of project design, equipment and material procurement, construction and installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. It is expected that the annual electricity generation will exceed 1900 gigawatt hours after the project is completed.
