Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department: Hong Kong's overall consumer price index rose by 1.2% year-on-year in November.

According to the latest release from the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department on December 22nd, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for November 2025 was announced. Based on the Composite CPI, the overall consumer prices in Hong Kong for November 2025 increased by 1.2% compared to the same month a year ago, which is the same as the corresponding increase in October 2025. Excluding the impact of all one-off relief measures by the government, the year-on-year increase in the Composite CPI for November 2025 (i.e. the underlying inflation rate) was 1.0%, which is also the same as the corresponding increase in October 2025.
