China General Nuclear Power Group: Construction of Unit 2 in Lufeng Begins Full Scale

China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group announced that the Lufeng Unit 2 of its subsidiary CGN Lufeng Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. has completed the first concrete pouring of the main reactor building on December 22, 2025. This marks the start of comprehensive construction for Unit 2 and it has entered the civil construction phase. The installed capacity of Lufeng Unit 2 is 1,245MW.
