According to exclusive information from core figures in the supply chain, in order to deal with the most intense price surge in the global memory chip market in the past five years, a top global PC manufacturer's executive recently made intensive visits to major global memory chip manufacturers including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Micron, and has reached preliminary agreements on supply guarantees with these suppliers. The insider did not reveal which specific top PC manufacturer this is, but industry analysts believe that the two companies most likely to have this bargaining power are Lenovo Group or HP. Lenovo Group's PC business had a global market share of 25.5% in the most recent quarter, while HP's was 19.8%.
