On December 22nd, the National Bureau of Statistics held the fourth press conference on "Data Valorization - We are in Action". Chen Ronghui, the Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated at the press conference that in order to fully unleash the value of public data, the National Bureau of Statistics has organized and implemented the demonstration scene construction of public data "coming alive". Three batches totaling 70 demonstration scenes have already been released, and today the fourth batch of 30 demonstration scenes is being released. Regarding the situation of the four batches of scenes, Chen Ronghui expressed that the data supply method is transitioning from "sharing as the main focus" to "collaborative promotion of sharing, openness, authorization, and operation". In the fourth batch of scenes, authorization operation has become an important data supply method. "At present, authorization operation is still in its early stages. We will continue to work with various regions and departments to promote the implementation of systems and ensure that more high-value data is supplied to the market. At the same time, public data openness and authorization operation each have their own advantages, suitable for different types of data and application scenarios. We will coordinate the promotion of these two development and utilization methods to maximize the value of public data," said Chen Ronghui.
