New version of "storage contract" released, further clarifying rights and responsibilities to promote fair transactions.

The journalist learned today that in order to implement the relevant provisions of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, the State Administration for Market Regulation recently released a new version of the "Storage Contract." The new version of the "Storage Contract" adds and elaborates on corresponding clauses, balances the rights and obligations between both parties involved in storage, and provides a fair and reasonable text reference for the parties to the contract to sign and perform their obligations in good faith. In response to the increasing diversification of storage services in practice, and issues such as disputes arising from unclear agreements and incomplete procedures leading to damage or loss of items with unclear responsibilities, the State Administration for Market Regulation has comprehensively revised the "Storage Contract" issued in 2000, providing standardized, clear, and reliable reference contract texts for both parties involved in storage, guiding the standardized and orderly development of storage services.
