Globally, the report predicts that the global steel consumption in 2025 will be 1.719 billion tons, a decrease of 1.8% compared to the previous year; the global steel demand in 2026 will be 1.736 billion tons, an increase of 1.0% compared to the previous year. The report indicates that in 2025, due to insufficient domestic demand, especially the deep adjustment in the real estate market, the overall steel consumption in China will decrease.
