The National Master's Admission Examination is scheduled to begin today in 2026, with a total of 3.43 million applicants registered. There are 2,433 examination centers and 120,000 examination rooms. The first round of the exam will take place from December 20th to 21st, 2025. Generally, there are four units of subjects in the first round, including political theory, foreign language, specialized courses, and specialized courses. In addition, for academic degrees in education, history, and medicine, as well as for professional degrees in sports, applied psychology, public health, and medical technology, the first round consists of three units of subjects, including political theory, foreign language, and comprehensive professional foundation. For professional degrees in business management, engineering management, and auditing, the first round includes two units of subjects, namely comprehensive management skills and foreign language. The political theory subject is assessed by the admitting institution in the second round of examinations.
