American Airlines expands its domestic flight network in the United States.

American Airlines edged up slightly in early trading on Friday. The company will open direct flights from Lincoln to Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago in June 2026, and will also increase seasonal flights to Phoenix as part of its hub expansion plan, which includes new routes originating from Phoenix.
