The Ministry of Water Resources held a symposium with water-related enterprises.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, on December 19th, Li Guoying, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, presided over a symposium to listen to the opinions and suggestions of relevant water-related enterprises on promoting high-quality development of water resources and ensuring water security in China during the 13th Five-Year Plan. During the symposium, the Chairman of China Three Gorges Group Co., Ltd., Liu Weiping, the Chairman of South-to-North Water Diversion Group Co., Ltd., Wang An'nan, the Chairman of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., Liao Jiasheng, the Chairman of China Guodian Nanrui Technology Co., Ltd., Zheng Zongqiang, the Vice General Manager of Guangdong Yuehai Holdings Co., Ltd., Tan Qifeng, the Chairman of Sichuan Water Resources Development Group Co., Ltd., Wang Hua, and the Chairman of China Siwei Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., Ltd., Chang Ming respectively put forward opinions and suggestions on accelerating the construction of modern water networks, developing water-saving industries, researching and developing water conservancy technology equipment and setting technical standards, water resources investment and financing, and the construction of the integrated monitoring and sensing system "Sky, Earth, and Water Engineering". Li Guoying stated that the constructive opinions and suggestions proposed by various water-related enterprises based on their respective fields and actual situations are of great reference value for planning and carrying out water resources work during the 13th Five-Year Plan. The Ministry of Water Resources will study each item in detail, fully absorb them, and effectively transform these opinions and suggestions into specific measures to promote high-quality development of water resources and ensure water security in China.
