Turkey arrests 170 people suspected of being associated with extremist organizations within two weeks.

On the 19th local time, Turkish Interior Minister Yerlika announced that in the past two weeks, Turkish police, counter-terrorism, and intelligence departments have cooperated in conducting special operations targeting the extremist organization "Islamic State" in 32 provinces including Ankara and Istanbul. A total of 170 people suspected of being involved in or providing financial support to the organization were arrested. Currently, 10 of them have been formally arrested, 15 are under judicial control, and the judicial process for the remaining suspects is still ongoing.
