On December 18, Hainan Free Trade Port officially started the island-wide customs sealing operation. According to statistics from Haikou Customs, on the first day of sealing, customs supervised imports of "zero tariff" goods worth 360 million yuan, mainly including crude oil, aviation equipment, medical devices, etc.; supervised import relaxed trade management measures for goods worth 347,000 yuan, mainly for "two outside" bonded maintenance of medical equipment. Customs supervised "second-line" domestic processing value-added tax-free goods worth 14.689 million yuan, with 808,000 yuan exempted from tariffs, mainly including medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, food, etc., involving 9 "second-line ports" such as Haikou New Port, Haikou Port, Haikou Meilan Airport, Yangpu Port, etc.
