The person in charge of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing stated at the 2025 Cold Chain Industry Development Annual Conference, "During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, driven by top-level strategic guidance and continuous growth in market demand, China's cold chain industry has achieved rapid development in infrastructure, accelerated technological empowerment, and profound reshaping of the industry landscape, entering the fast lane of high-quality development. The market size has unprecedentedly expanded, and the operating network has basically taken shape. From 2020 to 2025, the total demand for food cold chain logistics services is expected to increase from 2.65 billion tons to 3.81 billion tons, and the total revenue of cold chain service enterprises is expected to increase from 383.2 billion yuan to 556.7 billion yuan."
