China will upgrade and renovate irrigation facilities in Zimbabwe.

On the 18th, China and Zimbabwe signed a project proposal for the upgrading of irrigation facilities in Zimbabwe in the capital city of Harare, with the aim of further helping Zimbabwe improve its agricultural infrastructure and accelerate the modernization of agriculture in the country. According to reports, this project will involve upgrading and renovating irrigation facilities in 9 provinces in Zimbabwe, including East Mashonaland, Central Mashonaland, West Mashonaland, Manicaland, Masvingo, and the Midlands.
