On the morning of the 19th, Deputy Commissioner David Hudson of the New South Wales Police in Australia said that the police arrested seven men in the southwest of Sydney on the evening of the 18th. Investigators believe they have "extremist views" and may have been planning to go to Bondi Beach. A shooting incident occurred at Bondi Beach in Sydney on the 14th, resulting in the deaths of 16 people, including one suspect. Australian police say preliminary evidence suggests that the Bondi Beach shooting was a terrorist attack motivated by the extremist ideas of the Islamic State organization.
