Japan's core consumer prices in November rose by 3% year-on-year, in line with expectations.

The Japanese government reported on Friday that the core consumer price index, which excludes fresh food, rose by 3% year-on-year in November, in line with economists' expectations. The overall consumer price index (CPI) increased by 2.9% year-on-year in November, also in line with expectations. The CPI, excluding energy and fresh food, rose by 3% year-on-year, in line with expectations.
