Starting today, Hainan Free Trade Port will implement island-wide customs seal-up, with multiple batches of duty-free goods entering Hainan Island through ports and airports, including crude oil, medical equipment, aviation materials, and food raw materials. This morning, the first batch of duty-free petrochemical raw materials arrived at Yangpu Port, with an import volume of 179,000 tons and a value of nearly 400 million yuan, saving companies about tens of millions of yuan. After the implementation of the customs seal-up operation in Hainan Free Trade Port, the "zero tariff" policy will further expand its scope of benefits, with the number of relevant commodity tax items increasing from 1900 to approximately 6600, accounting for about 74% of all commodity tax items.
