The Ministry of Water Resources held a seminar on promoting the integrated governance and management of river basins.

On December 18th, Li Guoying, Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, presided over a symposium to deepen the promotion of unified basin governance. Li Guoying emphasized the need to focus on promoting high-quality development of water resources, ensuring the goal of water security in China, accurately grasp the laws of water control, strengthen basin concepts, basin thinking, and basin positions, promote new achievements in unified planning, governance, scheduling, and management of river basins, and strive to build safe rivers, rivers of life, and rivers of happiness.
