Journalists learned from the theme press conference "Drawing a Blueprint to Build an International First-Class Harmonious and Livable Capital" held in Beijing that the second phase of the implementation of the "Beijing Urban Master Plan" has been successfully completed. Beijing has gradually shifted from the "expansive cake-style" development to a more refined approach, creating a more spacious urban space and exploring a new path of reducing development. The green space structure within the city has been continuously strengthened, with Beijing's forest coverage reaching 45%, over 40 areas with forests of over ten thousand acres, and a total of 1136 parks in the city, making it convenient for residents to see greenery from their windows and easily access parks.
